Yummy chocolates are everywhere! This version of Azul plays just like the
original game but with a few variations in the rulebook to give you more
challenge and greater replay value. In this edition, players become master
chocolatiers as they create a selection of exquisite candies that are the most
desired in the world! This game is an abstract puzzle tile-laying game that is
easy to learn but challenging to truly master.
Taking turns acquiring tiles from those available each
round, players move tiles to their own tile wall (player board) to
strategically place them across five rows comprised of all available chocolates.
Points are scored each round for the numbers of tiles placed, with additional
points for all adjacent vertically and horizontally placed tiles. Points are
lost for unplaced tiles. The game ends when one player places a horizontal line
of five different chocolates in one row. The player with the most points at the
end of the game wins. For 2 to 4
players, with a 30 to 45-minute playtime.
