Description

Now in a bound version, Story of the World student pages are a helpful addition when multiple students are working through the program together. While you can reproduce the activity pages for family use, there is a convenience in this bound edition of the student pages, the same pages found in the Activity Book. This book cannot be used without the Activity Book where all instruction and teacher material are found. The book is not 3-hole punched but does have perforated pages. These are all 1-sided, consumable student pages including games, maps, coloring pages, review cards, paper dolls, and more. Before handing directly to students, check content on pages 29, 36, 49, 76, 80, 88, 97, and 124 for sensitive information and deem if it is appropriate for your family. Simply rip out a page(s) if not appropriate. These student pages are no longer being printed in loose-leaf form. 182 pgs, pb. ~Rebecca

Publisher's Description of Story of the World Volume 2 Middle Ages Student Pages

The Activity Book turns The Story of the World Volume 2: The Middle Ages into a full year of history and geography study! Provides curated reading lists, map work, coloring pages, review questions, exercises, and hands-on projects to bring modern history to life. Includes teacher instructions and one set of consumable student pages.

Volume 2 picks up where Volume 1 left off, and tells the fascinating story of the "Dark Ages," from the fall of Rome through the Renaissance. Like the preceding book, this story of history doesn't limit itself to a dry, white-bread-without-the-crusts retelling of a primarily European history, instead it is a rich, whole-wheat blend of European, Indian, Chinese, Australian, Arabic, Japanese, Jewish, Mongolian, Turkish, African, Russian, Australian and American history during the period. Fascinating topics abound here, including knights, samurai, Vikings, the rise of Islam, the Crusades, Genghis Khan and the Mongols, the Plague, the Mayans, the Incas, Marin Luther, the Reformation, the discovery of the Americas, and much more. A timeline and an index are included at the back. Revised in 2007, this 2nd edition text is available in hc or pb, and activity book is paperback.

1 Question
Why did you choose this?

I love this history for my children you can teach any level

Because we have multiple kids we homeschool, it was cheaper to buy the books than to run copies for each child at the Office Depot.
