If you are looking for a fun and engaging way to reinforce math skills, try this creative puzzle book. Written by 2011 World Puzzle Champion, Palmer Mebane, this was developed to use with the Level 2 Beast Academy math program, but can also be used independently. There are 12 different puzzle types and 400 new puzzles. The puzzles increase in difficulty with each new section. Anyone with a good understanding of mental addition and subtraction can enjoy solving these puzzles. However, if using with Beast Academy Level 2, there is a chart included showing the puzzles that coincide with the math concepts being taught. Each puzzle section has a difficulty rating, a solved example of a puzzle, and strategy notes. What a creative way to practice problem solving skills!
