The world has changed drastically since 1900, and Kalia Laval operates at a time when few people care about crimes that affect ordinary people. Her ancestors fought crime within organizations whose missions were focused on “doing the right” thing for crime victims, and now, it seems everyone cares more about profit.
In this final installment of the Millennium Series, your cyber-raven companion, who helps you analyze the clues you collect, joins you. You also have one cyber-implant to start with and more that can be gathered as you play the game. Cyber implants can replace or enhance human functions by interfacing with sophisticated computing systems. They can better scan a crime scene to pick up clues you might miss, or even disguise you as another person, which helps with undercover missions.
I recommend playing through the short tutorial, which is a good way to learn how to play if this is your first Chronicles of Crime experience, and then launching into the other four cases, which have varying levels of difficulty. For 1-4 players with a 60-minute playtime for each case. ~ Marsha
