Some of the prominent character studies include Samuel, Saul, David, Solomon, kings, priests, and prophets. On Day 1, students read the lesson; Day 2, students read a Bible passage and answer questions; Day 3, students complete an activity; Day 4 includes an exercise (covering background material, map study, answering questions, etc.); Day 5 is review and quiz time. The Rise and Fall of the Kingdom covers events in the Bible from the time of Samuel to the end of the Old Testament, in a chronological order. Students will learn about leading figures, including: Samuel, Saul, David, Solomon, Isaiah, and Daniel, as well as the other kings, priests, and prophets. They will also learn how the kingdom of Israel was founded, divided, exiled, and finally re-established.

Part of the Studying God’s Word series, Rise and Fall of the Kingdom is newly revised and includes four units, with each unit covering nine weeks. Each weekly lesson has a 5-day schedule. Students study the Old Testament from 1 Samuel to Malachi. Scripture is in New King James Version. The complete program includes a student worktext, quiz packet, and answer key (each sold separately).
