Primary Phonics Storybooks 3 is a set of 10 illustrated, decodable books that progress in skill and difficulty and provide opportunities for students to read in context. Phonetic concepts introduced and reviewed are initial consonant blends, plural -s, and final consonant blends. The illustrations are black and white with large, printed words. The inside cover of each reader displays a “focus concept” list of words that will be covered in that reader. This set includes the following titles – Slide, The Plane Trip, Spot, The Prints, The Dream, The Best Gift, Mittens, The Sea Gull, The Lost Duck, and Max and the Fox. The readers measure 8½ x 5½. Sc, 16 pages.
The Primary Phonics Workbook 3 accompanies this storybook set. For additional comprehensive, systematic practice of the phonetic concepts introduced in Workbook 3, you can use the MORE Workbook 3. This solid phonics program is further enhanced with the inclusion of the Teacher's Guide 1-2-3.
