Great brother sister toy!
The Duplo steam train delighted my grandchildren, ages 8 and 1. Big sis asked for something she and baby brother could play together. Brother is not quite ready to use it on the tracks but he enjoys crawling after it across the floor. Mom particularly likes the action strips that go on the track so the train whistles, lights up stops and goes and so on. I liked the substantial size of it. I encourage you to look up videos if you are on the fence as I was.

Toddler fun
I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old Grandson, along with extra track. He loves it. The tiles that allow the train to stop, reverse course, make the headlight come on and make noise are a very cool touch. Would definitely recommend this product.

Nice set
This train is very nice. It was a gift for our 3 yo as our older kids had a train. My only problem is it is smarter than our older electric duplo train engines. They can't run on the same track if you're using the stop and reverse.

Duplo Steam Train
My 4 yo grandson saw this train last Christmas and had asked me to show it to him online every time I saw him until his August Birthday! He was thrilled! Two weeks later and he is still playing with it for hours a day! His younger brother was so excited when he discovered it didn't have to be on the track for the engine to go! Your shipping was timely and came in good condition. I may order another to keep at our house!

How do you get the train to run?
There is a button the bottom to turn it on and then to make it go you give it a gentle push. It will go all by itself at that point continuing forward unless it hits the reverse signal on the track which will make it go backward.

My son loves Legos and we think he'll love the interactive options with this train!
I'm Phil, a grandparent, and I'm sending this to my new 1 year old grandson. I raised Emil on Lego and Playmobil. Love them. Because it's Lego it's also interactive.
