Beautiful course
I've used developmental math for four of my kids! My siblings used them growing up! It's an awesome curriculum that creates a beautiful understanding of number relation! My advice though, is it has to be used from the start to at least book 9. That's a three year commitment

He couldnt quit!
My son has severe non-verbal autism, but when he saw Book 2 after having completed Book 1, he was so excited, he kept pointing and insisting on doing it. I had to make him stop after about 7 pages, so we could get on with his other work! Normally he cant wait to be done with worksheets.

We love Developmental Math! We pulled my daughter out of public school (1st grade special ed) and she didn't know any addition and we were told that she would never know math (she has autism) Well in just a few short months of Developmental Math she knows and loves math! She knows most of her addition facts instantly and the ones she can't remember she can quickly figure out We are now working on book 3 and she is doing great on that as well These books are simple but effective and really help build mastery

We love this program! With my youngest daughter nothing seemed to click until we tried Developmental Math She loves the self pace and with no teacher prep it has been wonderful in our home I love how they teach one concept at a time and build upon it
