Introducing an animal with each letter of the alphabet, twenty-six chapters will take readers from alligator to zebra. Simple review questions have been added to help with comprehension.
Note: This text is considered to be an advanced reader and should be used after completion of a kindergarten-level phonics-based reading program. Students who have completed such a program should be able to read this book with minimal help.

Book 2 emphasizes small creatures and lessons from nature. Books 3 and 4 discuss the daily routine and other aspects of animal life. Book 5 has been completely rewritten and teaches about the earths hydrosphere and the multitude of creatures that live in the ocean. Review questions are provided at the end of each chapter or section. Answer keys are available for Books 1-5. These contain detailed answers to the review questions found in the student text.
This is a great little book for ELA & Science for K. The contents are an animal for each alphabet (even for letter X) with interesting facts about them and colorful animal drawings. There are short questions for review at the end of each reading. Im going to use it along with our ELA curriculum (not Christian Liberty) for each alphabet. I have other ideas I can do with my child using this book as well. A very versatile book!
