Handwriting practice that uses Scripture passages naturally produces character development. It's hard to argue with this assertion. These books also encourage Scripture knowledge and memorization, augment Bible study or family devotions, and develop penman¬ship skills – all at the same time.
Books are available in three handwriting styles: D'Nealian, Getty Dubay Italic, and Zaner-Bloser. Each style comes in three levels: basic print, beginning cursive, and advanced cursive. The 85-100 page books are lay-flat spiral-bound and use a high quality paper that will stand up to some erasing. The basic print book includes six passages from Matthew, Psalms, Genesis, and I Corinthians. The beginning cursive book repeats those passages and adds five more. The advanced cursive includes the first eleven, plus eleven more. Texts are NKJV. New to the series in 2019 are the intermediate and advanced printing workbooks (for grades 3-7). Intermediate print lines are .5 inch with a dotted midline. Advanced print lines are 1 cm wide with a dotted half line. ~ Janice

Does this book teach letter formation or is it just copywork in cursive?
In this book they have the children write the cursive scripture on the line below the example. There is a line of text and a line for them to write. There are no lessons of anything teaching them cursive. I use it as a practice. We are moving from tracing cursive to writing on her own. This has worked well for us. It is also helping her to keep her letter size down. Good luck!
