Large White Pig (Safari Farm)

The Large White Pig, also called Large White Swine, lives up to its name, being both big in size and white-haired (though the pinkish skin often shows through the thin fur covering).

• Scientific Name: Sus scrofa domesticus
• Characteristics: This figure of the Large White showcases the common traits of the breed, including its long body, large ears and of course, the distinctive snout and curled tail.
• Size and Color: This figure measures 4 inches long and 2 1/4 inches tall, a bit larger than a credit card. The pig is a light peach color, to reflect the animal's thin white fur over pink skin. The interior of its ears and its hooves are darker, and its nose is pink with brown nostrils. Its eyes are black, its mouth line is dark brown, and its underside is pink.
