Publisher's Description of Panzerhaubitze 2000 - 1002 pieces (Armed Forces)

Panzerhaubitze 2000 is one of the most advanced artillery systems in the world. Thanks to its technology, range and precision the PzH 2000 plays a key role in modern combat operations, providing effective fire support. It is a symbol of modern artillery and proof of the advanced technology of the German arms industry. We proudly present this legendary self-propelled howitzer released in cooperation with the Deutsches Panzermuseum in Munster.

Made of over a thousand elements, the model has all the features of its original. Working tracks, a rotating turret and a movable barrel of the powerful 155mm howitzer are just some of the many features of this set. The set also has a reproduced camouflage and all the markings and design details are imitated using prints. The brick PzH 2000 also has opening hatches and a movable frame to stabilize the huge barrel. On its turret there is an on-board MG3 machine gun. Panzerhaubitze 2000 is definitely a model that must be in the collection of every fan of the Armed Forces and enthusiast of modern armored weapons and military technology.

Work on the PzH 2000 began in the 1980s as part of the German Bundeswehr's artillery modernization program. The goal was to create a modern self-propelled howitzer that would replace older models like the M109. Prototypes of the PzH 2000 were tested in the early 1990s and the test results were promising, which led to the decision to start serial production. The PzH 2000 was introduced into service with the Bundeswehr in 1998. It is also used by several other countries such as the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Lithuania and Croatia.

The PzH 2000 is characterized by a high rate of fire, long range and an advanced fire control system, which makes it an extremely effective fire support tool on the battlefield. The ability to fire quickly and with advanced aiming systems allows for quick and precise targeting. The PzH 2000 has been used in various international operations, including NATO missions in Afghanistan. Its advanced artillery capabilities have proven to be extremely useful in demanding combat conditions, providing fire support for land forces. These vehicles are currently used in combat in Ukraine.
