This was a very good course which my daughter enjoyed It's hefty - really too much so we ended up cutting some of the writings I had my student "read around" the teacher text to profit from the extra material in the teacher's book You could almost use the teacher edition by itself since it contains the complete student pages although the student book is nicer (color) We're using it again at a different level

First of all, both the literature and the teaching support are FABULOUS. Secondly, it teaches strong character traits, and it is secular. Honestly, my kids love the stories and I couldn't be happier.…

I cannot find the answers to the student workbook in the back of either teachers edition. Could someone give me a page number?
They are the very last section in each of the teacher guides.

does it come with book one and book two?
There is a single textbook. The "Two" on the cover refers to the fact that the Gold book is an 8th grade book. The Jade book is the 7th grade course and is labeled Book One.
