Publisher's Description of Beginner Student Pages for Lessons 001-26
The Beginner Student Pages guide the students and teacher through the whole learning experience. The target age for this curriculum is age four through Kindergarten. Three year olds and even first graders can use them, any student who does not read or whose reading level is very low.
If you are teaching more than three or four Beginner students, the Beginner Teacher Visuals will help as well.
Lessons 1-104 have been updated this year and feature new covers and a smaller size. Content is the same between the two editions, but the organization of the activities if different. The two editions can work together, but please note that some activities are out of order.
My children love this bible curriculum, its very easy to use and thorough. They especially love the CD that comes with it, we listen to it in the car every time we go out.

I LOVE this Bible curriculum As a former Christian school teacher my opinion of a lot of mainstream curriculum is that they are just "glorified Sunday school" Not so with this one! Last year we used Beg level with my K4 student and Intermediate with my 2nd grader (He has a good base level of Bible from church) and I found myself learning/applying things we had studied! For the Beg level we just used the student pages along with the song CD sometimes I would tell the Bible story based off of each picture and have my child complete each picture's activity At this level he was doing things like coloring people's faces to show their emotions tracing words people said crossing out people who died circling things from the story - all very simple activities but they helped engage him in the lesson On the other side of the pages there's an application activity and coloring picture (He would do that while I did the lesson with his brother) and review questions I liked the amount of review a lot We'd review a few questions from recent stories as well as questions from a long time ago which kept things fresh in his mind Due to the time involved with teaching children at 2 different levels we do 2-3 lessons a week sometimes breaking up a lesson over 2 days I found it was easiest to start my Int student on the review work do the story with my beg student then have him color the application picture while I did the lesson with his brother Very little teacher prep involved - if you know the story you'll be fine although I'd recommend to read over the Get Active section - sometimes it has things you need to prep I thought the page size was a bit odd (legal size I think) and I wish it had included Scripture memory verses but my son did learn a lot of Bible stories as well as stuff like days of Creation & books of the New TestamentSome "little things" I like about the curriculum - You can use it with any version of the Bible Jesus is not portrayed as feminine the men do not have long hair
