Gentle
We have used three different levels of this series. They are gentle, and perfect for a struggling reader. While they are not intended for independent use, but the teacher guide is the same as the student guide, but with answers in the margins. My 4th grader was able to do all his work with minimal help from me. Usually we made sure he understood the instructions, and then went over his work together once he was finished. This program was good for grammar, and introducing a few new concepts. However, it is very light, and almost too easy. Thus the reason for my 4 star review. Along with that, there is very little composition, at least in this level. I would recommend it to others, especially families who are suffering from burnout, or kids that are struggling or maybe just need things to go a little slower. It is well done, and the literature chosen is excellent.

LOVELY!!
The best series! I cannot recommend it enough. We have tried many other series over the years, but this one is the easiest to use and by far the best!!

Why did you choose this?

First time using this for LA. I wanted something that is literature rich and makes learning the ins and outs of grammar more common sense. I'm hoping that learning through literature will help my kids…

This curriculum was suggested by a trusted homeschooler.

Love the layout, wanted all in one LA curriculum. Great Reviews & recommendations.

used it last year, loved it
