Description
This is the classic tale we all know by Paul Galdone. A lonely old couple had no boys or girls of their own, so the little old woman decided to bake a gingerbread man. She never thought he would come alive, hop out of the oven, and run away! He leads all of the townspeople (who believe gingerbread men were meant to be eaten) on a wild goose chase.
It was part of a book list. Also, I enjoyed these stories when I was little in grade school. I hope my kids enjoy them as much as I did.
