The Narrative 1 Audio Files accompany Writing & Rhetoric Book 2: Narrative I. This product is offered as a ZIP file containing several MP3 files. MP3 files can be used with most popular music players, such as iTunes.
Includes 10 lessons utilizing fairy tales, myths, and parables. Skills covered include main idea, dialogue, description, and conflict. Both books are about 140 pgs.
Narrator makes these files almost unbearable to listen to
Dr. Christopher Perrin has a great narration voice, and we enjoy listening to his rendition of the readings for this course. We have purchased the audio files for the first three levels of Writing and Rhetoric. But the readings done by Christine Perrin are almost unbearable to listen to. For some reason, she often gulps, smacks, and swallows and it's absolutely disgusting because the recording picks up every bit of saliva-swishing. Perhaps not such a big deal for some, but not worth purchasing the audio files. We just stop the recording and read aloud on our own whenever we hear her voice because it's so gross. Her cadence leaves quite a bit to be desired. Too bad. I wish Dr Christopher Perrin had done all the recordings.
