Its working
I like the curriculum. Its easy to follow and very thorough. Im still waiting on the 2nd book, however, so hopefully it will come in time for our needs.

Excellent Curriculum including videos by the author for many lessons and Links to online games. It's very reasonably priced too!
I couldn't be happier with my math mammoth purchase. This was for my 7yr old granddaughter and it seems very easy to understand and is colorful without feeling cluttered. I have a feeling that she is undiagnosed ADHD and when there is to much on the page,she gets distracted. The online videos and Links to online games are fantastic. I have a feeling this is actually going to work!

Excellent math curriculum
Our 7 year old daughter began MM Light Blue Series for the first time this year, and is LOVING it! I can see her thriving with the mastery method used. So much research went into selecting curriculum, and I am so happy we went with MM. Also, the price for the entire series is unbelievably affordable.

Affordable & Thorough Math
I think this is a great math program that my 2nd grader is able to do mostly on her own. Directions are easy to follow but curriculum does a good job of addressing concepts that are common core aligned. That was important to us because we will be sending our kids back to school at some point and we wanted to make sure they were on the same level. The price is great too.

We love Math Mammoth!
This works perfectly for my math minded daughter. I love how flexible it is. We are part of a coop that meets weekly and this curriculum allows me to move at our pace without feeling "behind".

My kids do very well with this curriculum. I love how it gives different ways to solve problems. Also the word problems are more in depth than other curricula we've tried.

Didn't Work For Us...
I really wanted to love this math series, but there were so many tears and so much confusion in the first two weeks, that we sold it and moved back to our standard homeschool math program that we had been using for several years. I don't recommend this one....

Yes, the worksheet maker is found on Maria Miller’s (author) other website homeschoolmath where there are free resources for teaching math.
At mathmammoth website you can find free video lessons as well.
Are these pages perforated?
No, they are not. We work in the book and I occasionally cut it out with a scissor if needed.
What set includes everything I need, colored, for grade 2?
I ordered the Revised Light Blue Series Grade 2 Colored Package and it comes with everything you need. However, there is no teacher manual because this curriculum doesn't have a manual. The problems are easy to teach though, so a teacher manual is not necessary. There are lists of extra resources to use like links to computer games if your child needs extra work in an area.
Can this be copied for a class or does each student have to have their own?
It does not come with rights to photocopy, however you can purchase digitally instead which would let you make multiple copies. If you go to the Math Mammoth website you can find information on digital copy purchase. If you go with preprinted books, they are consumables that each student would need their own of.
Do you have to print from home?
This particular package provides print versions of all the products. However, we do have a CD available that provides the same material in pdf files that you can print at home.
What is included in this? Is it just 2-A and 2-B workbooks? More to it? There is literally no information and only a price..
I absolutely love this math curriculum! It comes with the 2A and 2B workbooks, the test workbook, and the teacher's answer key.
My daughter loves workbooks and working independently and I've heard this is a good curriculum for that.
We liked the simplicity of the curriculum and the price was right :)
