The Worktext provides two teacher-directed pages to review the skills taught in the lesson and to give individual help where needed. While emphasizing the farm themes introduced in the lessons, the book provides a variety of activities. A chapter review, a cumulative review, and a note to the parent are included.
Completely revised, the 3rd edition is very attractive, much clearer in its layout, and easy to use. Still laying the foundation for elementary math through the teaching of necessary math concepts, this course covers shapes, classifying and comparing, numbers from 0-100, measurement, time, basic addition, calendar, money, fractions, and basic subtraction. The Teachers Guide holds reproduced worktext pages showing the answers, an outline of each lesson, practice and review activities, stories for introducing each lesson, procedures for teaching and checking for understanding, and extended activities. Also included is the Toolkit CD-ROM, containing all the reproducible activity pages. A copy of the Worktext Answer Key is included in the Teachers Edition as well, but it is also available separately.

I had great success with this math book for my older children. It eased them into math in a fun way that did not feel like work. They looked forward to it.
