The ColorKu game comes with 104 puzzle cards in five levels of difficulty. The cards tell you where to place the marbles on the board to start your game. The puzzle is solved by placing the remaining marbles on the board so that there is one marble of each color in each row, each column and each of the nive 3x3 squares. The game emphasizes logic, deductive reasoning, problem solving and FUN!

Sudoku puzzles have exploded in popularity in recent years, and this product allows you to enjoy the logical puzzles with colors instead of numbers. Instead of using numbers from 1-9, Colorku uses nine differently colored wooden marbles on a large wooden board. The high-quality wood board measures 11.5" x 11.5" and is divided into nine rows, nine columns, and nine 3 x 3 squares. It has 81 wood marbles in 9 vibrant colors. The board and marbles are covered with a plastic tray that holds the balls on the board when storing, and flips over to serve as a ball holder while playing. The board comes with 100 different puzzle cards that come in four different difficulty levels and tell players where to place the first few marbles. The solution to each puzzle is achieved when the player ends up having one and only one of every color ball in each of the nine rows, columns, and 3 x 3 squares. Solutions are included. There's even a color conversion card that shows you how to alter any Sudoku puzzle from any book or news-paper and solve it using your Colorku board. Think the 100 puzzle cards that come with the game won't be enough? Luckily, there are a few Expansion Packs, which offer additional puzzle cards at a variety of levels. Never tire of this game!
Beautiful made, compact version of ColorKu, almost small enough to travel with. This game can be played alone, or with others. The challenge cards, ranging from beginner to very challenging, give everyone a way to plan.

Great game and not electronic!
My 13 yr old LOVED it last year when my sister brought it to the beach. It was pricey but very good quality, and its not an iPad to be glued to, so I finally broke down and ordered it for her for Christmas! Felt like better if older since hopefully wont leave it down for dogs to chew up! Cant wait for her to open it!

What is the plastic storage tray like?
The plastic storage tray is made of heavy duty clear plastic and fits over top of the game board and wooden balls. We then store the entire game in the original box. When playing the game, we flip the game over so that the balls are in the storage tray, while we set up and play the next game. In this way, the balls aren't rolling around getting lost. We have had the game for a number of years and have found the storage tray to be very durable. I highly recommend this game.
