Category Description for Handy Art Pouring Medium

Mix this milky liquid with acrylic paints to create poured-paint art! You often see this done with multiple colors. There are lots of online videos showing paint-pour techniques. You can use any firm surface like an art board or framed canvas. Pour your paints and tilt the surface until you see what you like, then let it dry to a hard, non-yellowing, glossy coating. Ratios are on the bottle, but if using craft paints, it is 1:1, medium to paint. It's a messy and fun project that cleans up with soap and water. You should probably get the big bottle because your art students will want to create lots of color combinations! Try adding a metallic paint to solid colors and see the effect! ~Sara
