This planner holds forty weeks worth of school assignments. Each week is shown on a double page spread, separated into lined, colored boxes. The days of the week are listed along the top and blanks for the subjects are listed vertically on the left hand side. There is room for eight different subjects, four of which are given about twice as many lines for assignment notes. The left page holds Monday through Wednesday, and the right page displays Thursday and Friday, along with a column on the right side of the page for weekly goals, long term assignments, and small spaces for Saturday and Sunday work. Small spaces at the bottom of each page for teacher/parent comments are the only other items on the pages.

This compact, convenient planner is so easy to use, it is definitely my top choice. It is the perfect place to keep track of all my tenth grade assignments. In fact, I have found it very easy to keep a record of all my subjects and grades for my transcript right in the planner itself. A two-page spread displays the week at a glance, alternating contrasting blue and orange columns on each weekday. Day names are along the top and subject spaces along the side. Four six-line rows and four three-line rows give space for eight subjects, each with a blank to check off when completed. Although it’s meant for homework, I use it for all my assignments in every subject. It’s so handy because I can plan each subject’s assignments weeks ahead, but still check each one off as I complete it every day. I especially like the space on the left-hand page for weekly goals and long term assignments that allows me to keep track of things besides my schoolwork. Even Saturday and Sunday each have five-line spaces to note projects for those days. I haven’t found any other planner so unique in its compact design without all that extra stuff, yet so easy to read and use. Inside the shiny navy cover are heavy-duty, full-color pages that span an entire forty-week school year. Even the teachers and parents will be satisfied with the generous space given to their comments on every page. My mom plans to order one for herself, another for my brother starting high school, and of course, I will be using one again next year. Anyone who wants to keep his schoolwork in order will not be disappointed with this exceptional book!

I use one of these for each of my 3 elementary students. The price can't be beat for a planner, and it gives ample room for each subject, as well as spelling words or other info that needs to be communicated (I do change the title of Weekly Goals to Spelling Words.) I also love the teacher/parent comment spaces for rating grades/behavior, and I love half of the subject spaces having more room than the others, as some subjects like math take me very little space (just a lesson number) whereas others like writing may include multiple assignments (handwriting, spelling/grammar, and composition). Mainly I like the price!
