This engaging Bible is great for the whole family and perfect for kids. The entire Bible is not included; instead, only the “main” stories from the Bible are presented. Real Scripture is used however, so you’re not getting a dumbed-down story version - it’s actual NIV text. Scripture is in large-font text with books, chapters, and verses identified like in a standard Bible. Sidebars discuss and explain many parts of the passages and full-color illustrations and photographs are scattered appealingly over every page. “Understanding the Story” sections also add some explanation for younger readers and features like an index, maps, and an overview of the entire Bible are great as well.
