Alphabet Desk Strip (Cursive)
Handwriting is a breeze when you have a visual right in front of you on your desk! These four different desk strips are all unique, so read on to find out which one is the best for your children’s needs. All four strips feature the new Zaner-Bloser simplified letterforms. The Cursive Alphabet Desk Strip and Manuscript Alphabet Desk Strip are 18” x 2” and have a self-adhesive backing which will stick to any surface you choose. Each letter has numbered arrows that indicate the direction of each stroke. These desk strips may be simple in appearance, but they are most helpful in providing guided writing help to young students who are learning to write! The next two desk strips are more colorful and eye catching as each letter is accompanied by a fun illustration of an item that begins with that letter. For example, the letter “Z” has the word “zebra” printed, along with a fun illustration of the animal. These desk strips do not have an adhesive backing; however, they are laminated to keep them in tip-top condition as your child pulls them out for various writing projects. Please note that there are some significant differences between each of these two strips. The Illustrated Cursive & Manuscript Alphabet is 15” x 4 1/4” in size, and show how to write each letter in both cursive and manuscript. The Illustrated Cursive Alphabet is 14” x 3 3/4” and only shows how to write the letters in cursive. These two illustrated strips do not provide arrows to give direction as the first two strips do. All four strips have black letters, a blue upper line, and a pink lower line. Overall, these desk strips will be a great addition to your handwriting lessons no matter which one you choose! - elise
