These are unique in that, after colored front and back and removed from book, they are translucent when hung in windows. These stained glass coloring books are really impressive. We bought one for our daughter when she was in high school. It was a way she could continue one of her favorite things without seeming too juvenile. The way she could blend colors on the page was amazing. Our second grade daughter wanted a book of her own, so we bought her a couple of the small ones to see if she would actually color in them. We found that whether expert or novice, the pictures turn out amazing when you hold them up to the light. It would have been neat to have one of these when I was a kid!
