Description

This feels like a book for older students, but with simplified language for upper elementary and middle grades. It does a great job showing and explaining the elements and applications/uses of them historically and today. This would be a great resource to accompany a science curriculum or to have available on the homeschool/classroom bookshelf for leisure reading. Visual learners will love the large, detailed, and richly colored photos, many of which fill the pages! 208 pgs, pb. ~Sara
