“I need your 7th grade curriculum package.” For many years, we received requests like this, but didn’t have a package option to offer. Now we do! Created with the new homeschooler in mind, we wanted these to be easy to jump into and get started. They are! We also wanted them to be solid and strong in academics. They are! And we wanted them to utilize a variety of well-known homeschooling products, so you would have a better idea of what works well for you and your students. They do! Each contains carefully selected material that is user-friendly, academically strong and inclusive of various publishers or educational philosophies.
Three package options are available for K-8: Christian with a blend of Christian and neutral curriculum, Secular with many standards-based programs, and Christian Economy with our most budget-friendly programs. Many of the Economy package programs are from conservative Christian publishers and offer minimal graphics. See specific packages for detailed information. ~ Deanne

We offer two options for families wanting to Biblical worldview. Both packages offer a blend of Christian and neutral curriculum that we have carefully selected for their academic strength, quality content and homeschool friendliness.
Category Description for Rainbow Starter Packages (With Christian Content)
Christian Starter Packages provide a strong foundation in language arts with Horizons Phonics and Reading in Grades K-2. For Grades 3-8, packages include literature-based language arts with Learning Language Arts through Literature. Spelling is included with MCP Spelling Workout or Building Spelling Skills in Gr. 1-6. Simple, effective handwriting workbooks are included for systematic instruction in Grades 1-2.
For Math, we've included Math with Confidence for Grades K-3 and Saxon Math in Grades 4 and up. Math With Confidence provides open-and-go scripted lessons, a mastery approach to topics with spiral review. Saxon Math has been a homeschooler favorite for many years, with its incremental approach and built-in review and repetition. Suggested math manipulatives are included for Grades K-3.
Apologia or Master Books Science courses provide a survey of the sciences from a Young Earth perspective. Lab Kits included when available.
In K-2, Master Books Social Studies provides a child-friendly introduction to the world around us. Grades 3-4 introduce the literature-rich Notgrass History, with Alpha Omega Lifepacsfor middle school.
In 9th grade, literature and writing from Sharon Watson provide conversational, Biblical-centered instruction. Master's Biology is a college preparatory program offering a full lab experience (lab supplies not included) or a simplified approach using home labs and book based microscopic labs. US History and Algebra round out the essential high school subjects.
